How do you form a team for a nine-year journey? I should probably start by saying that it was my team that prompted me to take this journey. I have always understood that it is very difficult to implement such a project alone. But more and more often during my studies I was asked: “What's next?” , “Where can we go together?” , “What am I dreaming about?” and “Is it possible to be part of this dream?”

Starting in 2020, I thought about implementing a journey of this magnitude and started discussing it while studying, increasingly finding support from graduates, most of whom said they would go to the ends of the earth. But no one said they were ready to go the whole circle, especially since I didn't understand the time frame for full navigation myself.

Everyone has vacations or vacations they take on their travels. But few people can afford more than two weeks at a time. But I took the risk and bet on a three-week vacation: three full weeks, taking into account the road and the time on board. This is how the idea of rotating the team at stages throughout the year came about. As a result of my test conversations on board, I realized that, on average, fewer people agree to work twice a year for three weeks and most agree once a year for three weeks, and only a few for six weeks in a row. This is how I realized that, taking into account my family vacations, the “six in four weeks” schedule is the perfect solution for everyone.

When everything became clear about the schedules for participating in the stages of the trip around the world, I breathed a sigh and started thinking about the most important thing: how to select the right participants in terms of team comfort.
