I spent all my time creating these videos and developing a mobile app, and, of course, I expected the subscription monetization model to bring me many times more free time and return my investment. But to my surprise, the app was constantly breaking, and we were constantly repairing it, which increased expenses that exceeded revenues. As a result, I fully devoted myself to the war against developers who could't understand the reason and kept hiring new specialists. Each time they spent the hours I paid to parse the old code and write a new one. And I got more and more questions from paid subscribers: why nothing works and where to access full video tutorials.

As a result, I could't stand it and “burst”, getting everyone around me dirty. I locked myself in my room for a day and posted all the videos publicly on YouTube so that everyone who paid for the subscription wouldn't miss the opportunity to watch the tutorials they liked. There was no turning back; I fully buried the idea of a paid app. Of course, some were outraged that they paid for the subscription, and now it's free, but it seeds that most people have lived through it with dignity.

The very next morning, I was drowning in comments and words of gratitude for open access to all videos. And by the start of the season, the work calendar was 80% booked. I thought: why did I even waste my time and nerves on this application, why didn't I immediately upload everything to the public?

I wanted to spend time shooting videos and making money selling content, but it turned out that I was just investing in high-quality ads for my school. Now I was bursting with applications for training and no longer needed an advertising budget for promotion.
