The path to the Dharma

Constantly changing people, completely different from each other, each with their own story and each with their own way to the sea. This is what impressed me the most. Everyone saw and understood that I didn't get paid for my work, and I didn't hide it myself. But everyone saw how happy I was to be in this place, and many admitted that they were even jealous of something. A state in which you are full, healthy, happy, live in a wonderful climate without anything, but at the same time you are listened to and respected. You can compare it to an ideal, and there is more freedom in this state than when you worry about all your possessions and savings, having everything you dreamed of.
I tried to understand and get to know each and every one of those who went through school, some saw a friend in me. At that time, I was attracted to these new, successful and interesting people; they seemed so close in spirit to me, because they all chose yachting and new knowledge as a vacation.
We talked to Peter Georgievich for days on the fly, in addition to sailing and yachting, he asked me about my past and family, talked about his children, and I asked how he came up with this idea and what he dreamed of. It turned out that he wanted to go around the world on a yacht he hadn't bought yet. I was shocked at the scale of his thinking. How can you afford a job, a family, a yacht, and a trip around the world and still keep everything you own? He went through several stages of studying with Jim, and we continued our email correspondence.
In his first letter, he asked me if I was tired of working for Jim at school and if I would like to captain on a yacht he wanted to buy for a trip around the world. Of course, I didn't even think about it, especially since Jim had already announced to everyone that he was going around the world himself and I didn't want to stay here without him. And who would even be able to refuse such an offer. So we started choosing a yacht together, Peter sent me links and articles, we discussed the format of the event, the number of guests on board and the yacht concept. He had everything in good taste and every new offer was better and better, and the price was getting bigger. As the project grew, I became more and more afraid of the extent of my responsibility for such a luxurious vessel.
It so happened that Jim and I dreamed that we would soon go on a trip around the world, but he also dreamed that I would stay and continue to work at his school. Under the terms of our handshake, I was supposed to start receiving 2,000 euros a month in February 2010, but again I was not interested in money, but just wanted to live and move forward, and dreamed that I would meet him by chance on our way. In February, I received 2,000 euros from Jim, and after living in Turkey for 9 months, I left in the same clothes, with the same money, but a completely different person.
There are 2 months of weekends ahead, obtaining a visa and finally leaving for Italy to accept the yacht chosen by Peter.
