Shetland Islands

Route planning takes up all my free time, which is not enough as it is. Sometimes I feel like I have to have 48 hours in a day to get everything done, and the idea of not getting everything done keeps me going.
Yesterday, Denis and I drafted a plan for the next 3-4 years, combining versions of my crazy loops across the Atlantic Ocean and the North Seas. I'm not going to occupy your time right now with stories about possible combinations for these four years. However, I would like to share that while studying maps, I found and discovered completely new places that I had never even heard of before. This time, my attention was drawn to the Shetland Islands, an archipelago in northern Scotland about 80 nm northeast of the country's mainland. This archipelago consists of more than 100 islands, of which only about 16 are inhabited. I've always thought about going to the Faroe Islands, but after exploring the waters around me and planning a route, I realized that Shetland is another important stop on my way.
