The XR 41 was not planned as a yacht for a trip around the world, and I will definitely be the first to take such a step on this model. And I think that the shipyard still takes my words as a joke and that I'm not going anywhere in the end. But I would be happy to convince them otherwise. If I have followers who want to embark on a similar adventure on XR 41, they have every chance of beating me at the finish line. Since this isn't going to be a race around the world, it's a journey for racing around the world. I want to make intercontinental crossings and spend racing seasons in different regions, immersing myself in the local culture and philosophy of sailing. By making new friends among rivals, learning from them at a distance and on the shore, sharing experience and impressions. So my approximate estimate is that this will take at least 9 years. But racing is not the main task and the main goal. Living a full life and visiting the places I've been dreaming of since childhood is the main goal. And to share this with you for all the years to come.
